Hello and welcome!

The American Friends of the Oxford Food Symposium is a tax-exempt US organization founded to enable broader participation in the Symposium’s activities both in-person and online, nurture emerging culinary and academic talent, and sustain the Symposium’s mission of advancing food scholarship. 

Through a series of annual grants, including a generous contribution from The Julia Child Foundation, the American Friends provide financial support for the Young Chefs Program, administers student grants and financial aid packages, and offers financial support for specific OFS initiatives, including the transition to an online symposium in 2020.
